Quality Tier I Instruction Aligned to Colorado Academic Standards and Assessment Action Step Blended Literacy and Math Pilots To better engage our youngest learners and supplement a primarily direct instruction curricula, we have been supported by District Six in piloting ST Math and Lexia online curriculum supplements. Quality Tier I Instruction Aligned to Colorado Academic Standards and Assessment Action Step Family Parent Coalition In spring 2018, Dos Rios and four other District Six schools started a process to develop a Parent Leadership Team. This includes 4 parents, 2 teachers, the principal, and a parent/community liaison. We will meet three times in spring 2018 and monthly, beginning fall 2018. This team is an academic team focused on parent and community engagement. We also have started to analyze the national PTA standards and have begun by completing a self assessment on Standard I. ELL High-Yield Pedagogical Practices Action Step Timely and Actionable Observation Feedback During the 2017-2018 school year, Dos Rios administration has been receiving support from the Assistant Superintendent of Elementary & K-8 Leadership in a study of Get Better Faster (Bambrick-Santoyo) to improve our process of observational feedback cycles.
